Here’s a GREAT Baby Shower gift: It looks like a bouquet of flowers, but it’s baby clothes! The bouquet pictured above (the small bouquet) fits up to a 16 lb. baby and is made of 100% super soft cotton and machine washable. This small bunch contains:one pink comfy t-shirt, one pink warm hat, two pairs of stretchy socks and one bib. It’s a great way to give new parents the essentials they need - but still give a gift that’s artfully presented. The Baby Bunch - comes in boy and girl varieties, and in small and medium bouquets or buckets - you can even choose an organic variety. Here’s the direct link to this product at zappos.com. I think we’ve all been there: Booked the trip, packed everyone’s bags, finally got to the beach, and it’s not exactly what you expected. When you are traveling with a family (especially when your kids are young) you need to know what your beach vacation has in store. Orbitz.com has just released a new tool that will help you plan those summer family beach trips:
The Ideal Beach Finder
Click the link above and you’ll be asked to identify who’s traveling (ie. family with kids), you’ll choose your preferred activities, and identify hotel features and amenities you want. You also can modify your results based on region and sort results by price, location, and hotel star rating… and voila ! Recommendations based on your preferences pop up. Try it out!
You’ll also find Orbitz.com coupons here >

I love it when the money I spend for something I love actually goes to create a better world.
PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics is a company that I’m really excited about. Not only is this a socially responsible company that creates a nontoxic cosmetic line, but the money you spend helps to empower women. That’s because Peacekeeper Cause-Metics is the first cosmetic line to donate all of its after-tax distributable profits to women’s health advocacy and urgent human rights issues.

There’s something I’ve been so into lately: Ty got me started on drinking a cup or two of tea in the afternoons. It really helps to warm your insides when it’s snowing and snowing and snowing outside (which it does here through about April). Ty is stuck on Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear white tea, but I have just recently fallen in love with Yogi tea (my favorite flavor is the Green Tea Goji berry.)
So every afternoon around 2, I fill up a Stanley thermos (one of those old fashioned green things) with steaming hot water from the tea kettle and drop two tea bags in there with a squirt or two of honey. And then I sip my super hot tea from the little Stanley cup/lid. It’s a ritual that I so look forward to. Of course, I’m usually running around so much that I don’t end up drinking more than a cup or two of the stuff, but then it’s good on ice, too.
One of the best things about these Yogi teas are the little words of wisdom on the tea bags. Today, mine are: “Inspiring others toward happiness brings you happiness,” and, my favorite:
“Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light.”

The girls were upstairs writing in their journals on Sunday, so I sat sort of nearby in case they got stuck on something, and I enjoyed a little quiet time. I picked up an old issue of Body + Soul (from December 2006 - I guess I’m a little behind.) This issue featured a notice about a free online yoga class, offered each morning. I checked it out and it’s still being offered. Yay! It’s here: YogaToday.com
The class takes place in a beautiful setting in Jackson Hole, and each has a specific theme. New classes are delivered every day, seven days a week, right to your computer. Submit your email address on the Class Lineup page and you’ll get the weekly schedule emailed to you.
Ty and I have been cross-country skiing so much lately, and my goal is to build strength and stamina through yoga on our off days.
Check it out and tell me what you think!
