Cool Things: Jozie II Boots from The North Face

I live high in the Colorado Rockies, where it gets cold and snowy for many, many months. I am a big fan of The North Face and Patagonia, because their clothes and shoes just tend to last and last. And they keep me warm, too.

Brand new on my wish list for wintertime are these boots from The North Face: The Jozie II, shown here in black but available in a variety of colors from Altrec.

Stylishly crafted with rollover faux fur collars and detailing, the Women’s Jozie Boots from The North Face feature a waterproof suede upper that’s ideal for cold, damp evenings.

Along the side of the boot is a medial zipper that helps you get your foot in and out. Like other cold weather boots from The North Face, the Jozie Boots for women have innovative TNF Winter Grip outsoles with special temperature-sensitive Ice Pick rubber lugs that harden for improved traction when it gets really cold out.

Inside the Jozie Boot is a plush brushed tricot lining with a fit and soft feel not unlike bedroom slippers. The North Face insulated this functional and fashionable footwear with 200g PrimaLoft Eco insulation, so you can enjoy thermal warmth throughout the coldest days of winter.

Hooray. I want some!
