Read my review about Weight Watchers Program:
After my third and final child was born and I had finished breastfeeding, I
joined Weight Watchers Online. I joined as a gift to myself. I wanted to lose
the baby weight that I had slowly gained with each successive pregnancy.
My neighbor and friend had been losing weight with the Weight Watchers
FlexPoints plan, and she recommended it to me. I’m not one to go to meetings and
I felt I would be disciplined enough to count the points online.
I met my weight loss goal of 25 pounds in less than 2 months. Looking back on
it, the reason the plan worked so well for me is:
Huge flexibility. As a mom of three young kids, I’m always on the go and eating
structured meals can sometimes be a problem.
You don’t feel deprived. If you are craving a buttery chocolate chip cookie, you
can have one. The plan teaches you how to exchange those calories/points – and
has room built in for “real life” situations. It doesn’t take long to
realize that you can have that cookie, but it’s the equivalent of a whole lot of
healthy food that you could eat instead. When these chocolate chip cravings hit,
sometimes I chose the lower-point alternatives – and sometimes I just had the
cookie. As long as you count all your points, and stay within your flexpoint
range, the weight comes off.
It’s a great “reality check.” I have several friends who have done Weight
Watchers and one of the things that we all have noticed is that there is a
certain reality check when you are logging your calories and counting your
points. Before Weight Watchers, I was eating far too much each day, without
knowing it – and it was actually robbing me of energy. As I started counting my
points, I started thinking of food as a way to fuel my body and all the things I
wanted to do. Counting points was a way for me to see how much food my body
really needed each day. And that's something I carry with me today (three years
later), as well.
Weight Watchers Online now has a choice of more than one plan. There is the
FlexPoints plan and the Turn Around plan. The website has information on both of
these programs. The only one I’ve tried is the FlexPoints plan. It’s so great
and it taught me things that I’ve used to really keep the weight off. I
definitely recommend it.
I weigh myself often, and once, I went to Weight Watchers online again to lose
the 5 pounds that had crept back up on me. I really feel like I’m in control of
my weight.

I found that, once I joined Weight Watchers, I was saving a bit on groceries
because I was eating less, and that helped to offset the cost of the program.
And with Weight Watchers Online, you don’t need to buy any special foods to be
on the program, so it’s really an affordable way to go.
