Description: This bathroom scale not only shows weight but will also display the percentage of body fat and body water at the same time. It includes a healthy range monitor to show where your ideal body fat. There is also a guest mode for use by more than one person. The monitor shows your measurements the last time you stepped on the scale. The display is very easy to read and interpret.
Review: Anyone who has ever tried to lose weight knows that the bathroom scale can be your best friend - or your worstenemy. However in order to accurately track results, it's an almost necessary piece of equipment. The Tanita scale is one of the best out there.
When losing weight there are many things things to keep an eye on. When showing actual body weight the scale is very accurate. I checked mine after going to a doctor's appointment and it was right on the money. I couldn’t have been happier because most of the other scales I have owned would show my weight off by as much as five pounds.
Being able to check the percentage of body fat is nice too. This gives me an idea of where my real problem lies. If it goes up and down, then I know what I need to do to keep it at a steady percentage. Monitoring that has made my diet much easier to work with.
Retaining body water has always been a problem for me, especially when I first wake up in the morning. Now I know that the extra pound is caused by water retention because my scale shows me. After being up a few hours and moving around I can check it again and see that I’ve dropped that one pound instead of being down on myself because I gained a pound instead of losing it.
I also like the two person monitoring feature. I don’t have to reset my scale every time I want to check where I’m at. My husband and I can both keep track of where we were yesterday compared to today without having to take the time to reset everything over and over again. It helps to keep us on track and makes it easier to just step on the scales. Plus it’s very easy to program, making setup a breeze.
I like the easy to read display also. Some mornings I’m lucky to have my eyes open enough to see the bathroom, but with the easy to read display I’m not stepping off the scale and thinking was what I think I saw really what I saw. No more double stepping for me.
If you’re watching your weight and want a true accurate reading everyday then this scale is for you. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny I spent.
