Make a Photo Into a Painting
Have a photo turned into a painting. For about $100, you can get photos converted to canvas at most major photo stores. Or you can commission an artist who specializes in these types of products. (Artists and their portfolios are easy to find online with a simple google search.) Another idea: combine several photos to make a collage.

Photo t-shirts
It's easy to get a favorite photo printed on a tshirt. Make sure you have shirt size correct and that you have properly adjusted and cropped your photo. You may find that some printing shops offer a discount if you order more than one shirt, so consider purchasing several at once. This is especially ideal if you have a large family.

Photo Calendars:
The leading online photo companies allow you choose from a variety of designs, and you can choose pick different photographs for each month as well as a favorite photo for the cover. (See examples at stores listed above.)

You can get your favorite pictures on a variety of different mug styels, from stainless steel commuter mugs to traditional porcelain mugs. Make sure that you crop your photo correctly and reduce red eye (if necessary.) Mugs tend to display photographs very large, so even tiny flaws may be noticeable.

Scrapbooking mini-albums
The online photo websites listed above offer a number of templates where you can drag and drop your photos and captions. That way, if you plan to give these to more than one recipient, it's as easy as changing the quantity in your shopping cart. SeeHere is particularly well known for digital scrapbooks of a variety of sizes and themes.
